Pizza & Pipes was founded by Bill Breuer in 1962 in Santa Clara, Ca. Bill opened five more Pizza & Pipes in California (Redwood City, Daly City, Campbell, Sacramento & Fresno) and three in Washington ( Seattle, Tacoma & Bellevue).  All had pipe organs, which entertained millions of patrons over the years.

Bob Paterson purchased the four Bay Area restaurants in November, 1979.  He developed the pizza of the month, which carried us through inflationary times in the 1980's.  Gradually leases expired, stores closed and when the Tacoma Pizza & Pipes burned down in August 1999, only the Santa Clara and Redwood City stores remained in operation.

In 1984, Santa Clara P & P replaced its aging and ailing pipe organ with a Yamaha FX 20 electronic organ.  Bill Langford played the Yamaha until he retired in 1996.  Different Jazz bands and live music replaced the organ until early 1999, when live entertainment was stopped.  The restaurant now sports a giant screen with Direct TV programming of all major sports events, kids' playroom and video arcade with air hockey and foosball.

We are the PIZZA AND SPORTS LEADER in Santa Clara Valley.  Nominated as the most family-friendly restaurant, Pizza Party is you best choice for friendly family fun.  We have a separate playroom for children, where they can watch cartoons, play in our two-story, wooden playhouse and goof off in front of two fun house mirrors.  We also have another entertainment room with Air Hockey, Pinball, Prize Games and Video Games.  Plus there is a Foosball table for kids and adults.  We have a bookshelf with hidden picture coloring pages for the children.

Our dining room features a large High Definition television along the main wall and a smaller TV above the gameroom entrance.  We show two different events at once, so for example, you can watch the Giants and A's at the same time.  We can also show videotapes of your games and we can hook up your camera directly to our Big Screen.

We make great Pizza, Pasta, Salads and Appetizers too.  We make our dough and sauce fresh everyday and we guarantee not only our own food, but our competition's as well.  If you ever get a bad pizza from someone else, bring it to us and we will replace it free.  We currently serve cafeterias at three different school districts, so if you have school-age children, it is likely that they already love our food.  We strive to make our customers ecstatic by giving them memorable food, service and entertainment.  Of course, we are human and once in a while, we make a mistake.  If you ever have a problem, all we ask is that you let us know.  We will fix it immediately until you are completely satisfied.
